This pivotal role involves working directly with the Director/Board Sponsor and Regional Leads, combining specialist sector knowledge, design leadership, project delivery, and work-winning to help expand our residential portfolio throughout the regions.\n\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities\n\nSupport the Director/Board Sponsor in delivering the sector strategy.\nProvide leadership and specialist expertise to support work winning across the regional studios.\nContribute to business development activities, bids, and client engagement.\nIdentify new opportunities and support pipeline development.\nLead and contribute to the design of residential projects, focusing on place-making and design excellence.\nApply sector-specific knowledge to develop innovative, practical solutions.\nChampion best practice, standardisation, and continuous improvement across projects.\nAct as project lead and senior team member on residential projects.\nEnsure delivery to programme, budget, and quality expectations.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams and lead stakeholder engagements, including public consultations.\nShare lessons learned and drive efficiencies across the sector.\nPromote collaboration across sectors, disciplines, and regions.\nCapture and share lessons learned from projects.\nContribute to innovation in design and sustainability.Required Skills & Qualifications\n\nQualified Architect (ARB/RIBA or equivalent).\nMinimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience.\nProven experience designing and delivering residential projects across a range of tenures.\nStrong design and technical capability.\nExperience supporting bids, proposals, or client presentations.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nDesirable: Experience working within public sector frameworks, with HRB's and gateway approvals, and delivering projects incorporating MMC design principles.Benefits\n\nCompetitive salary and an award-winning lifestyle benefits package.\nFriendly studio environment with a focus on personal and professional development through the Academy.\nPart of an Employee Owned Trust, offering a sense of ownership and a stake in the company's success.\nOpportunities to work on diverse projects both in the UK and internationally.This position offers a unique opportunity for a Residential Sector Lead to lead, inspire, and innovate within the residential sector.
