CNC Miller Required! \n\nOur client is rapidly growing engineering company, specialising in machining and heat treatment.\n\nOn behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components to tight tolerances\n\nPackage:\n\n20 days holiday plus bank\nContractual profit sharing scheme\n40 hour working week with early finish on Fridays (6:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, 12:30pm finish Fridays)\nHourly rate £14.50 - £18.50 per hour (DOE)CNC Miller - Responsibilities:\n\nSet up, operate, and program CNC milling machines\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications\nSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies\nCarry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, CMM, etc.)\nMake necessary program edits and adjustments to optimise machining processes\nEnsure components are manufactured to tight tolerances and customer specifications\nWork closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes\nAdhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures\nSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesCNC Miller - Requirements:\n\nProven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment\nRelevant qualification - Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Engineering\nStrong ability to work from and interpret engineering drawings\nCompetent in the use of precision measuring equipment\nGood understanding of machining techniques, materials, and tooling\nAbility to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards\nExperience working with one-off and small batch production \n\nStreamline Search is acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying to this post you are granting us consent to process your data and contact you in relation to this application
