GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively with an SME sized construction client, who is looking to hire a full time Finance Assistant to work within their small finance / accounts team.\n\nThe role is working Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm (some flexibility i.e. 8am or 10am starts with an earlier or later finish).\n\nIt is purely office based, with 5 days a week at the clients Leicestershire head office.\n\nThis is reporting into the Head of Finance, working primarily across accounts payable & accounts receivable, but flexibility with other tasks is required as a close-knit team.\n\nDuties:\n\n * Provide weekly overdue debtors report\n\n * Monitoring Customer account / Chasing Debt\n\n * Issue Customer Statement after SL Close\n\n * Issue credit check information to parent company team for review\n\n * Client onboarding for finance system.\n\n * Process Supplier Invoices (inc. Pro-Formas)\n\n * Matching PO's to Invoices\n\n * Reconcile Supplier Statements\n\n * Post Credit Card Statements\n\nAttributes:\n\n * An experienced Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar\n\n * Proficient in using Xero & other systems\n\n * Organised, process driven & enjoy working within a small team\n\n * Live within a commutable distance of Leicestershire\n\n * Drive & own a car due to the client’s location\n\n * Confident in carrying out all the above listed duties\n\n * A team player who is happy to adapt / flex where needed\n\nThis role is commutable from: Leicester, Nottingham, Newark, Derby, Loughborough & other areas close to these locations across the East Midlands.\n\nThis position could also suit someone working as a: Finance Administrator, Financial Assistant, Bookkeeper, Finance Officer, Accounts Assistant, Finance Clerk, Office Assistant, Office Manager, Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk or similar titles that carry out the same tasks.\n\nInterviews to take place immediately, with a potential immediate start for the right applicant
