Mechanical Contracts Manager - Commercial Fit-Out - Central London\n\n£90,000 - £110,000 + Package\n\nAn established £60m turnover Mechanical Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their growing London operations team.\n\nSpecialising in high-quality commercial fit-out projects across Central London, this contractor delivers mechanically focused projects valued up to £6m and has built a strong reputation for delivery, repeat business, and long-standing client relationships.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a driven Contracts Manager looking to take ownership of multiple fast-paced fit-out projects while progressing towards an Operations Manager position in the future.\n\nThe Role\n\nReporting directly to senior leadership, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of 2-4 concurrent projects across Central London, overseeing Project Managers and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.\n\nProjects are predominantly CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-outs for leading clients and main contractors.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\nOverseeing multiple mechanical fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion\nManaging Project Managers and site delivery teams\nEnsuring projects are delivered on programme and within commercial targets\nAttending client, design, and progress meetings\nManaging subcontractors and supply chain performance\nMonitoring project quality, health & safety, and compliance\nSupporting commercial teams with valuations, variations, and project reporting\nBuilding and maintaining strong client and contractor relationships\nProviding leadership and technical support across all projects\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience managing multiple M&E or mechanical projects simultaneously\nPrevious experience within the commercial fit-out sector is highly desirable\nStrong mechanical building services background\nRelevant mechanical qualification required (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)\nExperience working for an M&E or Mechanical Contractor\nExcellent client-facing and leadership skills\nAbility to manage fast-paced projects within tight programmes
